Buttonbox!

No time to do a proper post--I'm running out the door to Ottawa--but, check out the new issue of Knitty here for Buttonbox.

Tell you more about it later.
P.S. I'm aware that the back-of-neck numbers are missing from the pattern schematic. They should be: 6[6, 7, 7 1/2, 8, 9] inches. We'll get them included asap.

  2. I really love this vest! But the thing that first made me click on it (on the Knitty website) was the viol in the picture. I tried to learn bass viol once upon a time, before I found that singing excited me more. :)

  3. That's a beautiful design. One of the few things I've seen on Knitty lately that I MUST make. Thank you so much! (P.S. - I used to live in Kingston back in the early 90's and my sister lives there now, a professor at Queen's. Laura Cameron, in case you ever run into her.)

  4. Found your design on Knitty this a.m. I'm knitting a child's vest and want to knit one for me! Love your style and will be following you on your blog. Snow day here in CT - will be knitting until my 15 month old grandson arrive for the afternoon.

  5. Found your vest on Ravelry this morning. I have been looking for a vest pattern and this is it. I have never made myself anything to wear besides scarves, hats, and lace shawls. I am excited to try this after a few projects I must complete first :-). Thanks!

  6. Liz, I spotted the vest on Knitty last night then realized - "Hey, I know that designer. It is a lovely vest. And it suits the rustic look of the yarn just perfectly.
