We have a futon in the library on our third floor. It's handy for visitors and for when we want to watch TV (almost never), and now it's being used for this.
It's the first few inches of my sampler shawl blocking while I decide whether I love it. I have to feel the love to continue with anything. The goal is to make a shawl that the wearer can easily adjust in length. It's really a stole--a long rectangle and, ideally, it should reach the wearer's fingertips when thrown around the neck. This one is 61 inches long, and it turns out that that's my height too.
See how yesterday's little knobs have morphed into points? I'm feeling the love.
