Tidying Up

Time to show the cleanup on Isabel's Trellis waistcoat (a better choice of name, I think, than "vest"). It's best to wait to do this until post-blocking. All the steek facings then lie nice and flat. In fact, they're practically felted just from the blocking process alone. I like to use blanket stitch in the background colour.

This makes a lovely, tidy facing along all the cut edges, especially nice along the front buttonhole facings.

I've chosen colours for my own size of the "waistcoat"-- Kauni "EG" and "EZ".
