Now that I'm working on the neck and armholes, the shape of the vest is getting stranger and stranger. The deep U-neck that I'm aiming for has created what EZ refers to as a "kangaroo pouch". That's it sticking up into the air.
The nature of the colour pattern I've designed, combined with Isabel's super-small size, has led me to make almost no indentation for the armholes. I want to preserve the motifs intact up the shoulder. Don't know if it will work yet; there's only one good way to tell, and that's to try it out. Always an adventure!
The tomato red teapot came as a sort of thank-you for teaching from my LYS, Wool-Tyme. Thanks, Anne.
Winter sunset yesterday.
