Really, it's not so drastic as it all looks. The blocked stitches aren't about to go anywhere in a hurry. Now, back to work to make the changes. Can't wait to show off the results.

Not for the Faint of Heart
With the Thanksgiving meal over and James back on the train to Toronto this morning, I've begun to tackle the makeover of "Downton". Sometimes after wearing a new sweater for a while I decide that I want to make changes/improvements. It's never easy to make the first snip on a completed garment, but I'm motivated by wanting the work done before Rhinebeck next weekend. In good morning light and with patience, I carefully snipped (yikes!)and ripped until the I-cord border was removed and the live collar stitches were back on a needle.
Really, it's not so drastic as it all looks. The blocked stitches aren't about to go anywhere in a hurry. Now, back to work to make the changes. Can't wait to show off the results.
